<li><em>1950s &#8211; Project Cirrus:</em> The U.S. military&#8217;s Project Cirrus expanded cloud seeding research. It involved dropping silver iodide from aircraft into clouds, aiming to modify weather patterns.</li>



<li><em>1950s-1960s &#8211; Global Research:</em> International interest in cloud seeding grew during the 1950s and 1960s, with various countries conducting experiments to explore its potential for increasing precipitation.</li>
